A gathering place online for people who live offline

A community is a collection of people, businesses and organizations that share one common bond — location. Be it a city, town or neighbourhood, a community gives us roots – and enrichment.

Today the internet enables people with common interests to come together regardless of geography. But that is not the kind of community we are talking about. We believe the places in which we choose to live, work and play – the physical place we call home — are the communities in which we crave to invest more of our time and energy.

Until now, there’s been no website dedicated exclusively to communities like these – which is why we created CommunityGuide.ca.

Our goal is to build a gathering place online for people who live offline. A powerful, multi-purpose tool for locals to make friends, share resources, promote interests, and organize activities. And to do it all for free.
